in my shoes...
I am 33 years old, and 3 has always been my "lucky" number, since I was born on Dec.3. I ironically have 3 children, all girls, all 3 years apart. At one time they were 3,6,9.. that was too cool. I am also engaged to my soul mate, whom I am with for the 3rd time in my life. The first was in 7th grade, track season, his school co-oped with mine, we were in love..ha ha. I would ride my bicycle from my town to his, around 4 miles. lol. And then the second time we hooked up we were 21, (very shortlived, but fun to see him again) Then this last time we became seriously involved 4 years ago, and we are ENGAGED. My children and I are so happy with him in our lives. I also have two wonderful step sons.. one lives in Oklahoma, and one gets to stay with us quite a bit. Love them both with all my heart. I am an aide for a school district to a student with autism. At least that is how it started out my first year doing this. Which was last year. My job completely changed this year. I am actually teaching 4 students in the CBE class room. CBE is Community Based Education. I love it. I hope to further my education over the summer, and have the potential to make more money. I am employed through one school, and work at another so I ride to work in a van with 6 of the students from the class. Everyday is an adventure. I love my job, I loved my last job as well, which was a CNA in a nursing home. While I miss taking care of the elderly, I do love making sure that children with a disability learn everyday. I live in a very small home, two small for all of our kids.. but we manage FOR NOW. I am praying daily for an opportunity to stay in the same town I am in, but upgrade to a bigger home. It will happen, as long as we stay on track! It was almost in our grasp, last year we spent seven months thinking we were moving right before Christmas... and at the very last minute it all crumbled. It was hard to think positive after that, but I managed. The hardest part was that we were going to have a room for my fiance's boys and my oldest girl.. It was too good to be true. But we are still hopeful one day it will happen. This was basically an introduction to my blogging ... I think it will be very helpful for me to just sit down, breathe and get lots off my chest! Lord, knows there is always something!! lol

Nice to meet you. Congrats on your engagement.
I don't teach at a school. But I do homeschool 3 boys with a list of 'learning disabilities'.
Stop by my blog for a visit! March and April are not as exciting, blog-post-wise, as January and February were, though- be warned)
